Z Week Review + ***GIVEAWAY***

This post is long in coming.  I am very excited to be finished the entire alphabet.  I am so thankful that I went at the speed I did even if it did take longer.  When Hannah I started together, Ethan was so little and couldn't participate.  When I was planning things out I didn't take into consideration how quickly Ethan would be involved.  Including Ethan meant slowing down and spreading things out.  But we did and now we're all done (and had a fantastic time in the process).

Here's a few of my favorite pictures from the very beginning:

She looks so little.

Look at my babies.

So messy.
Okay so back to the reason for being here the wrap-up for letter Z.

Letter Z

Playing with the Z Letter Box.

Matching Zoo animal shadows. (Source: 2 Teaching Mommies)

Hannah loved making her own Zoo with stickers (Source: Little Giraffes)

Ethan also happily colored and proudly pointed out his Zoo to everyone who came over.

We made zebra striped Zs. This was also a big hit and really simple to set up.

I love how Hannah's stripes fill up the Z but Ethan's go across(if you look above).

We had fun with the Zoo cages game. The kids both like hide and seek so this was right up their alley.

Ethan likes to cheat.

Now onto the fun part; the giveaway.  I thought it would be fun to have a giveaway to celebrate our monumental completion of the alphabet.  I have a extra copy of  Audrey Penn's "The Kissing Hand" (apart from my own copy that I wrote in, and if your not sure what I am talking about check this post out).  This is a great book and if your interested in having a copy of your own simply leave a comment in the comment section. In fact, leave a comment every day between now and the draw date for extra chances.  I will pick a winner at random on August 16th 2012.  Everyone worldwide welcome.

Good Luck!

This looks like a wonderful book to share with my three boys. I like all the activities you created to connect to the story.
