Week 9 - Freedom

We took a break instead of moving onto the letter I.  It gave me a chance to to look at what we had done in the past 8 weeks and evaluate how things were going.  That said we still had lots of fun.  I'm not totally sure that Hannah and Ethan noticed since we still did our "activity time", we just didn't do anything new.  Here is a quick look at some of our fun.

We played with out Geostacks.  This is asked for often by both.  Ethan likes sorting the shapes/colors.  You can see the card strip at the front that Ethan is using to sort by color.

Hannah help herself, she watches like a hawk to see if Ethan makes a mistake so she can jump in and "fix" it.

Hannah often uses the Geostacks to thread and make necklaces.

Ethan went for his nap early giving Hannah and I a chance to play a game by ourselves.  This is a super simple board game.  Roll the colored dice and match the color with the correct colored flower.  What's really neat about this game is that its double sided and has another game on the flip side.

Hannah and Ethan did MANY puzzles including the one above.

We have 2 cheerios books that I got at a thrift store.  Each page has spots where you finish the page using cheerios.  They like these books but mostly they like eating O's.
